Never would have discovered this great place had our car not broke down in a local car wash and CFA was the closest repair shop our insurance company approved of. They did amazing work, and fixed the issue in no time. I'll be returning to this shop, for sure - but hopefully not too soon!

I was referred to Cedar Falls Automotive by my shop at home and they tremendously exceeded my expectations. When I arrived at the shop they promptly found the problems and helped me sort through how to go about taking care of them. Michelle was so kind and thoroughly explained to me my options. They were very honest and genuine, I HIGHLY recommend Cedar Falls Automotive.

This shop is very thorough but doesn't add unnecessary work. They explain everything that needs to be done and tell you why, and they don't do anything without the customer's approval. All that is important to me, but the work itself is more important. So far, everything seems perfect.

They were great all around! From the call at 4:45 PM with a mechanical emergency to getting it fixed the very next morning. They helped set up a tow (which was a different company and equally amazing,) they let me get right in to see the problems for myself and explained the plan. He's a retired Honda-Trained Technician, so I feel even better leaving my Civic in their hands.

I started smelling a "hot" smell on a Friday afternoon, and Michelle had me drop off the car that evening. It ended up being a seized caliper. They ordered parts and had my car ready to go by mid-day on Monday. Amazing service! Ken and Michelle are honest, kind, and will help me find ways to try reduce the cost of my repairs without compromising safety. I am so grateful for the way they serve my family and our community.

My infant daughter and I were driving over the mountains for a weekend trip when I started having a little car trouble. They were the closest shop to where I was so I gave them a call, explained my situation and they had me come right over so they could check it out for me. I could not imagine how kind and hospitable they were to my daughter and I. He explained to me exactly what had caused the issue, fixed my problem and gave his professional advice on whether or not I should continue my trip. Had my truck serviced by 5 mechanics who gave strange reasons for the Check Engine light being on, and none of them turned it off. Cedar Falls Auto fixed the problem and made several other concerns that need not be addressed by them. Everything explained in detail. Cost very reasonable. They listen to you!

We had a wheel bearing failure while traveling on a rainy Saturday evening on a long weekend, the tow truck driver took us to Cedar Falls and we were back on the road the next day. Hassle-free doesn't do the service we received justice, most of the time you can't get service like this with a reservation! Can't say thank you enough times.

A year after my alternator went out and was replaced with a remanufactured one, it went out again. On further inspection, Cedar Falls Automotive found that there was a small oil leak from the engine that was causing the alternators to fail. They completed the engine oil leak repair at a reasonable cost and then were able to refund the remanufactured alternator cost that helped offset some this new repair cost. The car has been running well in 2 years since the repair.
A year after my alternator went out and was replaced with a remanufactured one, it went out again. I got a flat tire near Snoqualmie Pass on a Sunday this winter and found Cedar Falls Automotive from Google Maps. We called, not expecting many places to be open, and Michelle and Ken told us to come right over. They were professional, reliable and friendly. I was expecting to pay anything it took to get the tired repaired and when it came time to pay they told me not to worry about it. Great people and great customer service. My van’s brakes were making one hell of a gnarly sound and it’s a Sunday so Seattle and any other garage around were closed, but not Cedar Falls Automotive. I called to double-check and was immediately greeted with absolute professionalism from Michelle, who inquired about my van’s issue and even made sure I knew how to find their shop (it’s off the beaten path, but it’s beautiful). I then met Ken, our mechanic, who took one look at both my front wheels and was able to immediately diagnose the problem. My pads, rotors and callipers were shot and needed to be replaced (he even noticed that my tires were in hellish condition because of an alignment issue that I was not aware of! He recommended that I change my tires immediately and even suggested me to a local tire shop to get them done the following day on top of advising me that I should get an alignment done asap). He performed all the brake replacements in an hour and I was back on the road with brakes that felt as good as new! In regards to cost, Ken and Michelle are extremely honest. They’re not out to screw you over. They’re there to help. 1000% would recommend them to anyone experiencing auto issues. They’ve left a lasting impression. Thanks Ken & Michelle!

My 19 year old son and his friend were headed from Calgary AB Canada to a concert in Seattle with my wife’s SUV. They broke down on I90 at the Snoqualmie Pass. Todd’s Towing recommended Cedar Falls Automotive for the repair. We had diagnosed it as a failed alternator. Todd’s Towing took the vehicle to the shop today at about 10 am, by 12:30, the alternator was replaced and our son was back on the road. Needless to say, we are all very impressed. Having our teenage son traveling in a foreign country, my wife and I were thankful that there are businesses like Cedar Falls Automotive in times of need. We can’t thank you guys enough for the quick fix at a fair price. Thanks again.

I had recently took my car in for an annoying engine light that other shops just could not figure out, got a call the next day from Michelle that they found the problem and fixed it the same day. Very reasonable pricing and not to mention a few days later I called a different shop to get an idea as to how much it would cost them to do the same job and… Let’s just say I saved more than what I expected. Tremendously thorough and honest. I dropped my truck off with instructions to rebuild the transmission. Within a day, they reached out to me and let me know that may not need to happen after their diagnosis. Turns out the computer needed to be reset. They could’ve proceeded with the more expensive repair. High integrity earns high scores in my book. Well done!

Cedar Falls has done great work on both my Hyundai sedan and my Honda van. Each job has been done with quality and the pricing fair. We’ve had them do a variety of work including oil changes, brakes, and scheduled maintenance. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

When our wonderful trip from Spokane to Bonney Lake for a Renaissance Faire turned into a wait for a tow truck in North Bend, you waited AFTER HOURS for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee & baby cargo trailer to be towed in. You found the problem immediately, drove out to get the part, fixed it and even hitched the trailer back up for us all in a miracle amount of time! And the charge was very reasonable. “Thank You” seems little enough to say. You people are wonderful! THANK YOU!!

Attention car owners driving in the Hwy 18, I-90 or Seattle, North Bend, Washington area: When your car breaks down in these well traveled areas, I highly recommend Cedar Falls Automotive. I was towed there from Hwy 18. They were great to talk to on the phone and very good at helping a motorist with a car issue gain some peace of mind, especially in a remote area and when you’re stranded. They were quick to diagnose the problem with my car as well as another party’s and got us under way. Thank you, Cedar Falls Automotive!

“I have been a customer at Cedar Falls for 4-5 years now and have had the absolute best service possible! I have had multiple fixes done here and they have always gone above and beyond. Outstanding customer service. It was about time for my regular oil change and it just so happened that my check engine light came on a week prior to scheduling my visit. Murphy’s law was applied to my situation and the check engine light turned off just after scheduling my appointment. When I took the car in for my oil change the next day they went ahead and ran diagnostics. This came back negative and when I received my bill for the oil change there was no charge for the diagnostics testing. I inquired as to why no charge and they said not to worry about. After my most recent oil change, I returned home and had a large pool of oil underneath my truck. The car was done the next day so I could get on with my trip. The diagnosis and repair work were professional and reasonably priced. “I am new to the state of Washington and living in Ephrata, I had to make a flight out of Seattle and on my return home my Suburban broke down just before the summit on I-90. This was on a Sunday on the 4th of July weekend, so naturally my first thought being new to the area was “I am so screwed!!!”. My auto insurance carrier contacted a towing company out of North Bend and I figured I was spending the night there, but to my surprise he said he knew of a shop that was open and towed me to the shop. Michelle greeted me and said they would do their best to get me back on the road, Ken stopped what he was doing and came over to check the truck. Well a few hours later and a new distributor and the Suburban was purring again. I made it home safe that night and I can not tell you how thankful I am for Michelle and Ken and now in the future when I am making that trip I will be confident knowing that if anything happens I know the right people to get it taken care of. We were planning to have it towed back to Tacoma since it was after 5:00pm on a Saturday, thinking that no one in North Bend would be open to fix a diesel truck. Right when we got there they were so nice and welcoming and reassured us that they could get us fixed up and on the road shortly.
